Readjustment

It's kind of a funny story. I had snuck out tonight looking for a bit of excitement and I saw this girl who looked almost exactly like me, but without the short red hair. She was wearing baggy pants, a white t-shirt, and a pair of shades despite it being the middle of the night.. My interest was completely piqued so I decided to follow her. I stuck to the shadows and followed her all the way into a near empty alleyway and then she stopped. She had no reason to stop which was why my heart immediately sped up and I jumped onto the roof of the building on the left right as she spun around.

I used my special senses and saw her glaring up into the air with curiosity. She had known I was there behind her. I quickly got up and began to run. I had an odd feeling that this girl was going to try and follow me. I got this weird aura from her. It was as if she knew my every move and that freaked me out a little bit. As I sped over the rooftops, the wind blowing past me, my mind raced equally as fast. What the heck was going on? I continued to wrack my brain for ways of escape from this person because I had a feeling that she was just like me....

She was special.

How did I know that? Other than the fact that I knew she was following me I had no idea. I only knew that I didn't want her to catch me. Why? Another equally good question with no answer. As I ran I felt a second presence that left me confused and slightly disturbed. There was ANOTHER special out here and they were headed in my direction.

Soniya: Shoot! What am I gonna do?

Nothing came to mind for a long moment, and right when the second person would have collided with me I leapt into the air and out of his grasp. It was a guy. I landed on my feet about five feet away from both people and took off again.

Soniya: Okay think...I have two strangers chasing me, I have no clue who they are and what they want, I have nowhere to go. If I go home everyone will get involved and I'll get yelled at for having left to begin with.

I shook my head. I could just imagine Daimyon as he glared at me for having left. I knew we were lying low for the moment but sitting around that house all day was so boring. It wasn't like I was helpless if someone tried to...

Soniya: What the heck am I doing?!

I took a step and flipped backwards over the male persuant. Before I could be hit by either person I stepped to the left, dodging both the female's attempt to charge me and the males attempt to kick me square in my back. The result was extremely satisfactory, ending with her being kicked back an entire building or so and he having missed me.

Soniya: So it's a fight you guys want? Well then...

I ran towards the guy preparing to show him a few fireball loaded moves when right as I would have hit him his fists lit up. He swung at my face and I rarely missed being smacked with not only his hand, but the red ball of fire that engulfed it. My eyes were so wide it felt as if they were going to pop out of their sockets.

Soniya: Impossible...

Guy: Not really.

Right before I could respond I was smacked in the back. I crashed through the ceiling of the next building over and found myself surrounded by office cubicles and paperwork.

Girl: That was for earlier.

I looked up and found her lifting her arm to slam it into my chest. I rolled over and kicked my own blue fireballs in her direction. She ducked and dodged all over the room.

Girl: What the...?

The guy appeared, dropping through the hole in the roof and landing right next to the female. She immediately turned and swung at him. I watched them, completely confused. I thought they were on the same side. Apparently that was not the case. As I watched them I noticed a third person, also male, drop through the hole in the ceiling. He placed his hands on his hip, shaking his head for a moment, and then grabbed the two by their collars.

After quickly seperating the two by raising them in the air and as far apart as his arms would allow them to go he looked at me. My eyes only grew wider when I saw this.

Guy#2: Would someone mind telling me what is going on?

We all stood silent. I could feel confusion radiating from the other girl. It only freaked me out more that I could understand what she was feeling. There should be only two people in the entire world that I could do that with. The most recent was my boyfriend, Daimyon. The second was my twin sister,.....

Soniya: Maiya?!

Guy#1: Soniya?

Maiya: Simmian?

Guy#2: Reese!

We all stared at Reese, the youngest of usfor being such an idiot having announced his own name. I smacked my forehead realizing only now that this entire time I had been fighting with my siblings. Lucky for the three of us Reese had realized this and come to straighten things out.

Reese: So I'm assuming all three of you were fighting each other not knowing who anyone was.

Maiya: Why would you hide? Idiot!

Soniya: You were the one who was being all mysterious!

We both stopped and stared at Simmian, the oldest sibling.

Reese: So why were you fighting?

Simmian:......Look, we all came out because we were bored okay. Don't question my motives just to make yourselves look better.

Reese dropped him on the ground unexpectedly. He hit the ground hard, landing on his butt. I shook my head and walked over to him to kick him over. Maiya, who had been placed on the ground in a more gentle fashion, smacked him in the back of his head. Simmian exploded in flames from frustration of being hit repeatedly.

Soniya: You did it to yourself, hothead.

Just then I felt myself being hit in the back of my head. It hurt twice as much as it should have and I realized it was because Maiya had been hit as well. We rubbed our heads in unison.

Reese: You did it to yourselves, idiots.

I squinted my eyes, irritated but not wanting to hit my little brother. He was never quick to hit anyone so I could not bring myself to deny that we were wrong. Then again, though, none of us were as levelheaded as he. Simultaneously Maiya and I reached out and pushed him back while Simmian stuck out his leg to trip him up. When he hit the ground we all laughed at how crazy the night had been.

Reese: Fine, I'll let that one slide. Now can we all get back before they realize we're gone? We'll get the third degree if we don't.

We all agreed, brushed ourselves off and ran home.
